When I graduated from University, my assumption was that I would find employment quickly but that was not the case. So I decided to register with several Staffing Agencies who promised me temporary employment ‘right away’. After waiting for several weeks and many telephone calls to enquire if they had found me work, I realized that I was no where near obtaining employment. My friend Melissa whom I graduated with, already had obtained employment and was enjoying her assignment a great deal. When she realized that I was not finding employment she referred me to Action Personnel. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff. I felt welcomed and that was something that I did not feel with other Agencies. After testing and an interview with Paulette Landry, I was immediately placed on a 3 month assignment with a great hourly rate. The assignment was eventually extended.

I couldn’t believe how dedicated and professional the team was. And yes, they are a team, they work together and I think that’s what separates them from other Agencies. They don’t worry about commission, recruiting their own people, etc, etc. They genuinely care about placing people with assignments which they will feel comfortable with. It’s truly amazing when you call them and they know you by your first name. Do you know any other Agency that does that? Kim, Tanis, Paulette and their Administrative Assistant, Christine are truly the best. They cared about my well-being and called me at least once every two weeks to see how I was doing on my assignment. I have been with Action Personnel for three years and through their excellent assignments I have gained valuable experience. With this experience I have landed a wonderful job with the Government of Canada in Human Resources. The best part was when I told Kim and Paulette, they were so happy for me and wished me the best of success. Although, I am no longer with Action, I have referred many people to them and every person I have spoken to has enjoyed their assignments and their experience with Action.

I could sit here and write a ten page letter about the staff at Action but I won’t because you truly have to go there and experience them yourself and I promise you, you will NOT be disappointed.
