Financial Management – Senior

DUTIES

The resource will be required to perform, but not be limited to, the following tasks as requested by the Project Authority:

  • Provide advice to senior management on financial policies
  • Provide advice, guidance, and services to clients within the department on financial policies
  • Produce briefing material and provide authoritative support to senior management for the presentation at various committees on Financial Policy
  • Conduct studies related to the development of financial policies and procedures and provide analysis

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience in finance or financial management with the federal government as guidance and interpretation to senior management and internal clients on complex financial management matters is required
  • Experience in leading work groups to address financial issues
  • Experience in interpretation of financial policies and procedures
